Craig, a Chicago native, graduated in 1969 from the Loyola University in Chicago with a bachelor’s degree in philosophy. In 1972 he graduated, cum laude, from the Northwestern University School of Law. He was a member of the Board of Editors, 1971-1972, of the Northwestern University Journal of Criminal Law, Criminology and Police Science, and the author of “Elements of Liability and Actual Damages in Rule 10b-5 Actions”, published 1972, Illinois Law Forum.

Craig focuses his practice on real estate transactions and litigation, and on land use and local government issues.

Craig is active in organizations that support individual liberty and the rights of property owners. In 1995, he was awarded the President’s Industry Merit Award by the Home Builders’ Association of Illinois.
